# Alert 08

## Overview

Alert 08 is a dismissible floating notification component that appears as a toast-style alert in the bottom-right corner of the screen. It displays an informational icon, a short message, and a close button. It auto-dismisses after 5 seconds or can be manually closed by the user. A trigger button is used to show the alert with slide-in/slide-out animations.

## How to use

    Navigate to the **Elements** category in the Brikl panel.

    Find **Alert 08** and click **Copy**.

  <Step titleSize="h4" title="Paste into your editor">
    Paste it into your Bubble canvas with `Cmd + V` (Mac) or `Ctrl + V` (Windows),
    or right-click on the canvas and select **Paste**.

## States

This component includes conditional states that automatically change its appearance.

| Hovered Close Button       | User hovers over the close (X) button | Icon color changes to a more transparent black (rgba(11,8,9,0.6)) |
| Non-clickable Close Button | Button is not clickable               | Close button opacity reduces to 50%                               |

  These states are handled natively by Bubble and require no additional setup.
  They will work automatically once the component is pasted into your editor.

## Responsive

This component adapts to mobile screens. Font sizes and layout automatically adjust on screens smaller than Bubble's built-in mobile breakpoint.

This component includes pre-built workflows.
