# Switch 02

> A toggle switch group with a circular white knob that slides between off and on states.

## Overview

Switch 02 is a free, interactive toggle switch component for Bubble.io. It displays a rounded pill-shaped container with a sliding white circular knob that visually moves from left (off) to right (on) when clicked. The component uses a custom boolean state to track its active status and toggles between on and off via conditional workflows on click.

## How to use

    Navigate to the **Elements** category in the Brikl panel.

    Find **Switch 02** and click **Copy**.

  <Step titleSize="h4" title="Paste into your editor">
    Paste it into your Bubble canvas with `Cmd + V` (Mac) or `Ctrl + V` (Windows),
    or right-click on the canvas and select **Paste**.

## States

This component includes conditional states that automatically change its appearance.

| State | Trigger                                              | Visual effect                                                                            |
| ----- | ---------------------------------------------------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Off   | Default state or when active\_ custom state is false | Background is light gray (rgba(216,211,212,1)), knob is aligned to the left (flex-start) |
| On    | When active\_ custom state is true                   | Background changes to dark (rgba(27,23,24,1)), knob slides to the right (flex-end)       |

  These states are handled natively by Bubble and require no additional setup.
  They will work automatically once the component is pasted into your editor.

## Responsive

This component adapts to mobile screens. Font sizes and layout automatically adjust on screens smaller than Bubble's built-in mobile breakpoint.

## Workflows

This component includes pre-built workflows.

| --------------------------------------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Switch group clicked (when active\_ is false) | Sets the active\_ custom state to true, turning the switch on   |
| Switch group clicked (when active\_ is true)  | Sets the active\_ custom state to false, turning the switch off |
