# Switch 08

> Pill-shaped toggle switch with moon and sun icons indicating off/on states.

## Overview

Switch 08 is an interactive toggle component that allows users to switch between two states (active/inactive). It features a sliding circle indicator inside a rounded pill container, accompanied by moon and sun icons that visually represent the off and on states respectively. The active state changes the background color and repositions the toggle knob.

## How to use

    Navigate to the **Elements** category in the Brikl panel.

    Find **Switch 08** and click **Copy**.

    Paste it into your Bubble canvas with `Cmd + V` (Mac) or `Ctrl + V` (Windows),
    or right-click on the canvas and select **Paste**.

## States

This component includes conditional states that automatically change its appearance.

| State          | Trigger                          | Visual effect                                                                                                                       |

| Off (Inactive) | Custom state 'active\_' is false | Background is light gray, toggle knob aligned to the left, moon icon is fully visible, sun icon is dimmed                           |
| On (Active)    | Custom state 'active\_' is true  | Background changes to dark (rgba(27,23,24,1)), toggle knob shifts to the right, sun icon becomes fully visible, moon icon is dimmed |

  These states are handled natively by Bubble and require no additional setup.
  They will work automatically once the component is pasted into your editor.

## Responsive

This component adapts to mobile screens. Font sizes and layout automatically adjust on screens smaller than Bubble's built-in mobile breakpoint.
